i havent been blogging as much as compared to my IAP days.
reasons being
1) school is more tiring than work somehow.
2) i'm blogging for RED Camp blog at www.np.sg/redblog !! :D
3) i'm just plain lazy. haha.
4) more personal feelings goes into my diary. everyone has that something that he/she just wanna keep it to him/herself. i'm sure you do too. :)
many things happened. and as usual, my life is hectic. wooo. tiredness aside, everything is going well for me so far.. BE OPTIMISTIC! :D
it's 5am liao. i'm kinda tired but i'm determined to update my blog..so here's one entry first before i sleep! :D
.Golden Hits Award.
Last saturday was 93.3FM Golden Hits Award. For the very first time in my 1.5years of being an usher at SIS, i was allocated to the premier area!! BUT as a ticket collector. HAHA. so i didn't get to see the show at all and i stood at the entrance for 3.5hours. it's like
so near yet so far. baaah. Luckily jam hsiao and aska yang didn't come.. if not i will be super upset! (but then again, if jam is here, i would most probably be sitting inside and not working. waha!) Anyway, those who attended, i've met most of them up-close in person except for eason, joanna and MAYDAY (baaaah!). HEH.
I still saw a few celebs though. They were interviewed somewhere near the entrance, so it's within my vision. HAHA. I'm honestly glad for ahhui (wu jia hui) when he clinched the newcomer award. He's like jumping crazily and super happy during his interview lah. haha. He deserves it, seriously. He's a very pleasant and good natured next-to-door kind of guy. Very humble, sincere and determined about his music. He earns my support man! :D
To me, good music isn't everything. The attitude of the singer matters too. Ok lah, if i never meet you before and i like your music a lot, just keep it that way will do. I'll continue to support ur music. But if i meet you and interacted with you by chance, and the first impression i had on you is not very positive..then TATA!
That said, if you know me well enough, you would have guessed that i saw Mr.XXX again. hahaha. and i had the urge to ask him to
WAKE UP and BE SMARTER. So it's not only to me and ning (we're not longer special!), perhaps he's just does that to young media professionals? His interviewer this time round is known for his gift of quick tongue and intelligence one ah.. and he's young also. (note: I dare use the word 'professionals' here. cause i can swear i'm really very objective when it comes to work.) I dont wanna further elaborate liao. Just thinking about it makes me angry. hahaa.
Anyway.. ahteng also won the newcomer award and lee weisong won the award for best composer for ahteng's song! WOOO. super happppy! Ahteng deserves more awards actually. baah. Ohh, and the ultimate big winner of the day is aska yang. 5 awards lor. Haa. but i have a feeling perhaps it's his first and last time getting awards. he's having some contract issues with his company. I definitely don't hope so though, cause he's got a good voice and he's kind of nice. Will be damn wasted if he just fade off the music scene with one album. He must not be another Jones man!
And talking about jones.. ahhhh! i so miss his live performances. I still remembered 2 years ago, he lost to ZDL for some awards thingy and i hated ZDL after that. HAHAHA. Like come on lah, Jones can reaaally sing and his 'live' is awesome. But ZDL.. i've been to his concert and................... okay, i don't need to spell it out cause it's not very nice. you get what i mean lah. :D
This is one singer whom i really really really felt he deserved a brighter path. Perhaps age really matters (but aska is 31 already lor)?
Just hope that ahteng won't be another Jones. I dont want him to die off just after one album! He should have at least 10 albums before he fades off from the music scene. HAHAAH :D
