it's the day of the long awaited CCHS thousand people dinner! i was so excited when i heard about this few months ago and tried to ask many people along.. but in the end.. the number of people that i know who attended, was kinda pathetic. ok lah, cannot blame. the ticket wasn't exactly that affordable.. but i was telling myself, it's once in a lifetime thingy.. so no matter what, i'll attend :) you know i love cchms to bits. (i just love all my schools lah! HAHA!)
(the guest scroll for us to sign! cooool right)
it's really nice to see my teachers once again.. ahhh! ms charmine gan still rmbed my name!! GOSH! i still rmbed last time ppl always say i look like her. hahaaha. she's now married lo! i'm happy for her :) she was this damn nice english teacher i'd in sec 2. 5 years le leh! she still rmbed me, i was kinda shocked honestly. and even mrs yeo, my sec 2 home econs teacher, she rmbed me too.. that was really shocking, cause i'm such a quiet and 不起眼 little girl back then! it's really nice to hear teachers calling out your name after 5 years... i think i've been such an obedient and hardworking student back then that they'll still rmb me. wahahahaha.it's really heartening to see soooo many people (it's more than 1000!) seated in the same ballroom to celebrate the anniversary. they're all my seniors man! :D and they're really seniors seniors in a sense, and quite a number of them their hair already all white.. you can image how senior is that.
(i was at table 98. look, it's like a sea of heads. HAHA!)
and i had a surprising discovery that george chan (OMG!OMG!OMG!) was from cchs too! i am so amazed by that! haha. i was telling yuchih..."eh that guy over there looks very familiar.. i've seen him somewhere.." and the next few mins i was flipping thru some book and ta-da, it's really him! GOSH. i should have go take a photo with him sia. after that time i interviewed him for the PA concert, i'm super adore him - his talents & and his attitude. (but it didn't came across my mind that he's from cchs, cause he's quite angmoh-ish eh. i tot he's from some boy school .. haha)memories came flooding back.. esp when they showed the lake odyssey photo.. i missed my drama days a lot a lot.. we spent like almost up till half a year to work on that production! and it's because of that, i fulfilled my dream of stepping onto esplanade's stage. :)

but honestly, if you asked me what's one thing i missed about chungcheng, i'll tell you: clit class.HAHHAAHAHHA! cause i have no freaking idea why did i even choose to take clit (clit = chinese literature) and how did i even survive thru O Levels with teachers that can't really teach. HEH! actually clit classes were fun, cause is either we slack like crazy, or we copy notes like siao. haha.oh! there's another thing i missed about chungcheng too: our awesome uniform! :D oh, and there's another: my wonderful neighbours in class.. hahahhaa. esp. my ever entertaining neighbour for the last few mths in chungcheng - mr lui wengseng! i'm really glad that my results didn't deteriote even thou i sat beside him for quite some time. i hope he's in army and not in jail now! LOL!
OH! AND THERE'S SOMETHING THAT I'LL NEVER FORGET. climbing the school gate (and i still feel very guilty up till date about derrick's fall =/), and sliding under the school gate. wahahahahaahaah! SSSSSHHHH. i know that's very not me, but yes.. i've did that before.. & the late nights at "day&night" eating nissin chilli crab or laska cup noodle with the gang. i wonder how's everyone doing now.. ahha! and the eating of durians & watermelons at the locker area. omg. i'm really glad i did exciting things during my sec sch days! HEH! :D
it's like time really really flies. it's been what.. 3 years.. after i graduated..and now that i'm moving on to uni..things changed alot too.. honestly, i still like the old chungcheng back in my times better. went back for bazaar last year, and the feeling is kinda different already. =/ well, memories shall always stay in my heart!
ok, enough of my "past".. hahhaha. photos time! :)
the first dish - appetizer. but it seems like the main cast it's the merlion here! it's made of salt!
though the appearance doesn't look tempting, but it's a very tasty & tender chicken. love it! :)
wooohooo! my favourite dish of the dish - the bouncy juciy prawns!
cheers for being a proud cchs alumni! :)
cheng xi asking for beer to be delivered to our table. it's the second time already! you can tell how slow their service is..but then again, there were many tables lah!
tiger beer. my 开声武器! it's my first time drinking it outside lor! tsk tsk. spoil my obedient little girl image! give chengxi face, i drank it. (actually it's SHIOK leh! HAHA!)
table 98. ok, let me tell you.. i only know the people from the top left & right, bottom left & right. the rest were strangers. LOL. heh! ok lah, they're seniors/junior.
we're like the youngest alumni amongst those who turned up for the dinner. graduated batch of 2005! and woohoo, we've two superstars from my batch eh! beekwee and javin! & they're invited to sing the 70th anniversary song. heh!
my sec 3/4 classmate - cecelia! the drama people united! lol. she's like the english drama girl, while i'm the cheeena drama girl. heh!
the white & the black. the short & the tall. thou we're like total opposites, we're buddies for life. and it's thanks to chungcheng that we've met. ahzhi, you know i is love you deep deep. HAHAHAAH! :)
one senior (that i've never met in school thou) that i'm proud of! hahaha! mr kang chengxi! honeslty, i was surprised that he wanted to come and he really did come. i still thought that he'll pangseh! haha. it's cause of the cchms' bazaar last year that i got to know him in person. i rmbed saying 3 years back when he's in star idols that one day, i'll meet him in real person.. and the day really came! hahaaha. i is super super support him back then one leh... so it's like a dream come true kinda thingy. ok lah, chengxi..you're still my idol now! hahahahaha. though you're no longer an MDC artiste, but i salute you for your positivity, 潇洒-ness and 那的起放的下 attitude. and i'm kinda glad that you've actually choose not to continue with that path and that you've decided that you want a more stable career.. though it's quite a pity cause now this photo won't be of any value in the future liao. HAAHAHA. it's still very wasted though, given all the chances that you'd gotten yourself during the past two years... anyway, what's over is over. everyone need to move on! :) like people say, 不在乎天长地久,只在乎曾经拥有。
this is how short i am, or rather how tall chengxi & jiaxi are! honestly, i was kinda worried what if i've nothing to talk to him when i meet him.. and somemore he's gonna be sitting at the same table! but my worries were extras. heng ah~ he's one nice easygoing person to hala with & definitely super lame but entertaining! hahahaaha. senior ah senior, all the best in your career & i'm pretty sure you'll do well! :)
the gracians with our two beloved chinese teachers and mr loh (the current pricipal), and mdm tan is now the VP! woohoo.. :) i think my chers aged quite a bit liao =/
