i'm supposed to be writing my chinese studies term paper now, but suddenly got the urge to blog about the birthday chalet. HAHA. i'm just procrastinating to start on my term paper actually. 3,500 CHINESE characters. sigh! =/ but thinking of the bday chalet just made me sooo happy. woo. so i shall just blog now! two weeks ago this time, i was all so excited man. if only time could freeze then...

we're supposed to check in at 2.30pm, but in the end we checked in at like 5plus.. hahaha. cause i went to collect the damn awesome mango cake from engkay's dad bakery. (seriously must thank my CSE! EK - THANK YOU! WOO. anyone want nice mango cake, come find me k! )

the cake is frigging heavy! 2kg leh. and i carried it from angmokio to pasir ris, that explained my facial expression. hahaha! but then, it's worth it! :D

the awesome october babies! :D

so after all the cheer-you-up "gang" arrived, we went to loyang point shengshiong to get some bbq stuffs. we really wore the different versions of cheer-you-up shirt out tgt lah, and went on a bus. people must be thinking we're crazy. hahaah. even the auntie at the bubble tea was asking like did we print this ourselves anot. seriously, gordano should pay us for being walking advertisement. haha! (oh! and guess what! we saw quite alot of people wearing the shirts at downtown too lor!)


you have to agree, the shirt is quite cute right! :D (aiyah. kheng's one ganna block by red thing. hahaha!)

we prepared goodie bags for our guests:



and then we went to the arcade, attempted to do some jumpshots (but failed! boo) and we played mahjiong on the bed....... (the first time of my life man! lol)

slept quite late the first night.. or rather me, kheng & zhiheng only slept during dawn. mel & yilin knocked out quite early. haha. had a great time chatting with jasmine (new friend!:D) & heng & kheng. me and kheng were having some intellectual talk at 4am. hahaha.

the next day, together with maxine from OC5, the 6 of us went to WildWildWet! supposedly to have our own sector's outing in the morning, but.... response was like...... anyway, we did have fun! :D but sad ah, didn't take photos!

yes, & we got sunburnt/tanned. okay, i got burnt! we're still saying that the sun wasn't strong confirmed won't get tanned, but who knows! when everyone get back & bathe, can really see the contrast of the skin colour man. haha. & i think it's damn obvious i got darker (by just sitting in the pool for 45 mins! woohoo, my skin damn awesome) cause people came and asked "wah! what did you do just now? your face is damn red." hahahaa. i almost wanted to reply to say that "cause i see you, i shy mah. that's why face turned red." but i didn't! HAHA!


so... it's BBQ time! we damn up there. first the food caught fire! & then there's smoke!

ASTON'S HICKORY BBQ CHICKEN! really. haha. cause we used hickory bbq sauce to marinate this. & it's damn nice k!!! minus those chaota parts lah! next time if you're bbqing, you can try this - buy the chicken leg and marinate it with hickory bbq sauce. really is aston's style! (okay, but it takes quite long to coook! but good food is worth the wait! haha)

i liked this bbq! cause everyone very self-initiated! they cooked their own food! :D hahaha but mel & i wanted to bbq so much so we told some of them we'll bbq for them cause they're guests!

It was really a memorable 2.5 days for me & i'd fun! though some things happened along the planning stage which got some of us really upset..but at the end of the day, everything turned out well! AND IT DIDN'T RAIN! WOOHOO! :D
